DESCENT

A work in collaboration with London Thames Water, videoing a celaning and extaction process of the pipes below UCL. A project that considers differnt types of descent, the feral and disruptive aspects of unseen movements of matter, wanted and unwated. Shown alongslide various cast and epherimal fragments unearthed in agrigcultural land that was making way for modern water pipe systems- the duality of the two landscapes consider the ideas of human impaccts on land through various industry. Cast work incliude: the centres of hag flit nodes which were then knapped; grass rhyzome casts; mini ground boar holes.
